I DON'T Suck at Life!

I so don't suck at life! Or accounting! It is official...I think I can handle this now. I got my second accounting test back today. I got 74 out of 84 or an 88 percent. This is pretty good considering 6 people failed out right and the average score was a 75 percent. I was so scared going into this test! So scared. I studied all day on Sunday despite not feeling well. It paid off too...granted I did make some stupid mistakes that were the difference between and A and a B but I will take a B over a C any day and I thought I was going to get a C. On the first test I studied for maybe half an hour and I got an 89.8 percent...so close to an A. But that stuff was easy and I understood it right away. So anyway...finally confirmation that business wasn't the wrong major for me. I actually like accounting, quite a bit. Once I understand it anyway. Next semester I'm in macro so that should be pretty intersting too. I had to talk with my advisor about my schedule for next semester. I was in Accounting II, Statistical Methods, Spanish III, and Macroeconomics. Whew...that's a lot! So I got it reduced to Accounting II, Spanish III, Macro, and a CS 100 class or intro to computer science which meets one day a week and is required to graduate. So...three computational courses but I should be ok as I'm no longer in STAT! AHH...I do however have to take Stat, just not next semester.

Moving on...in an hour we will find out if Spanish is the right minor for me. I get my midterm and composition back next class. Ahh...but I'm not really worried...sort of having a flashback to the semester test at the end of first semester last year. Let's just say it wasn't good...so yeah...not feeling so well but I thought it was semi-easy and I'm not too concerned about the grammar part as I learned all that stuff when I was a sophomore in high school. Anywho....OH! And another basketball player and a football player are going to Mexico with me in May...let's just say I'm pumped! I get to spend three weeks in Mexico with these boys...ok!

Let's see, what else...I don't really have a lot to write about. I can't get my pictures to work which is really pissing me off. Hmm...I had a great birthday. Thanks to all that sent cards and/or cupcakes. Those were quite popular! Oh...I got an A on my very first college paper last week! It was awesome...well...Jessi told me it was amazing....and mom never told me what she thought of it...if she read it. Owell... The weekend before fall break I went to Iowa City and stayed with my new cool friend Jill. We went to the Iowa/Michigan game. It was so good! I sat with mommy and daddy...we had fun...especially making fun of the princess in front of us! O dear lord...it was an Iowa game for Christ's sake and she was powdering her nose and applying her lipgloss in the stands! Hehe...the rest of the weekend we all chilled at Jills and met some more of her friends from home. One of my friends, Brad, calls his town Hometown...that way when him and the rest of his friends talk about it it is like they are all from the same place because they never refer to their towns by their real names. He explained it to me one day, apparently it makes them feel closer and like they have a connection to everyone on campus this way...whatever! I think he may have been slightly hungover that morning.

Alright...class calls...suck! I dislike going to class...but don't worry...I always do. Chat with you later...

I did read the paper and was very impressed. We never had a chance to talk about it.
