COLLEGE
Hey all! Just thought I would drop a blog, that sounds pretty funny, to let you all know how I was doing. I know that quite a few of you are anxious to learn all about my new life and I know my mom is nervous to know just exactly how well I am doing on my own. Well, for starters, these are my new friends Kate and Jessi. Kate is the short one in the middle. I think I may have found Tony's match. She is hilarious and she has a witty retort for everything! Jessi is the other girl. She is a lot like me in we both played a lot of sports in high school and we have a very similar sense of humor. Kate is the one who makes us laugh with what she says and Jessi and I just provide the blonde moments.

Move in went well. Not too many things went horribly. Thanks to Uncle Tony I will never, and I mean NEVER worry about my loft falling down on me. That and it was a pain in the ass to move it up, luckily I'm only on the second floor. I have decided that since the loft is white, I have some sharpies and whenever something funny happens, it will be written on the loft. I will apologize now for anything that may not be rated for the units. Thus far we have written two quotes, and I am sure there will be plenty more. Food is alright, it sort of sucks that we are on a regimened(is that a word??) eating schedule becuase I'm not really used to that. Like we at breakfast at 9:00 today and then lunch at noon and dinner starts at 5:oo. Owell, once classes start I will be able to make my own schedule. I mean, I haven't even broken the seal on any of the food I brought. With the exception of the peanut butter and I only did that because I wanted something sweet and I didn't have anything else. Which is a good thing becuase otherwise it would be gone by now. So, thats pretty much all I have about move in.
My roomie is pretty quiet. We don't have to same orientation group so I hardly see her. Only when we both happen to stop in to sleep or get something we forgot. I think we will see even less of each other once classes start as she has class every day and I only go Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Otherwise, there really isn't much to tell. She is pretty nice, loves horses so there are cool pictures on her side of the room. I have pictures of my friends, sorry no family yet but I'm getting there.
Hmm, books, well what is there to tell you about my books. They were really freakin' expensive and I have a lot of them! I have four classes and I had to buy fourteen books! My english book is called Elements of Argument, something is telling me Tony may have read this more than one time, he seems to be so good at it. It is almost a craft to him. Anyway, orientation is alright, well, what I've gone to has been alright. Currently skipping the Security meeting. Don't worry mom, I talked to Tara Price in the office earlier and she told me that all I needed to know about the security meeting was where to put my parking tag and to register my bike. Well, I already did the parking tag thing and I don't have a bike! Looks like I'm set. Oh, we ran into Timmy, the kid who set up my internet, like 12 times yesterday and he hooked me up with wireless so I guess the ethernet cable we bought is null and void. Owell, I'm sure I'll need it sooner or later and he told me it wasn't a bad idea to keep it incase the wireless he tapped for me goes down. Just means I can sit anywhere in my room and be online. Which I really, REALLY like!
I have been trying to eat semi healthy since I have been here. I really don't want to gain wait after I lost a lot this summer. Thus far I have stolen two pieces of fruit from the caf, AKA Mensa. Kate did a wonderful job of announcing the fact that I "stole" from Mensa the last night in one of our group meeting things. They all just looked at me. And if you will notice please, the first article of evidence is actually located in my left hand in the above picture. There is another one of us from last night and I am holding the second piece, an apple. I have also met quite a few people. Saturday night after move in and dinner and floor meetings we did this thing called Playfair. It is really hard to describe but it was pretty fun. Basically we did a lot of random, crazy things and met a lot of random people. I only really remember a few orientation staff members and a kid names Steve, oh Steve, beautiful blue eyes and very pretty. Last night we, us girls, and a kid from our group Carl, hung out in Kates room because 1)she got a doctors note and she has air conditioning, and 2)her roomie is hardly ever there because her boyfriend of four years who is a senior football player has a house and thus far has not spent one night in their room. Owell, makes more room for us.
Well, I think that is all I have for now. Still have some organizational things to take care of but otherwise pretty much all moved in. We all went our separate ways right now because we had two hours to kill with nothing to do. I think both of them are sleeping but I decided to take this opportunity to inform all my faithful readers about what I have been up to the last few days. Look for more updates about classes after Wednesday because that is when they start! See you all later!

I have no equal. You should know that by now.
You know, that was my loft back in the day, too. Oh, the memories. I made out (notice censoring here) with the ugliest girl EVER in that loft one time.
Good times.
May you have better luck with it, and better luck in class too.
Thanks for that Tony. I really needed to know that. But, I know that everything you could have done there has long worn off by now....
Ok, enough with the discussion about sexual intercourse. My daughter has gone off to college to seek higher education. I know the censoring commnet was for me. PS good luck tomorrow, don't forget your lunch money and your umbrella it is supposed to rain!!!

This is so cute. So collegy and all. Just wanted to say I'm posting this comment 'cuz your Daddy is here, and he told me to look. He says you look like ME in the picture with your friends by the fountain. Not sure I get it, but I'm proud just the same. Go Alyssa Mueller for Student Senate. I promise you won't let anyone down!
