Tipless but Rollin' in Boys and Water

Hello all, it has been, thus far, not such a bad week. I have a few interesting stories to chat about, but first, I must let it be known that I bought the 10th anniversary acoustic edition of Alanis Morrissette's "Jagged Little Pill." I saw it at Starbucks one day and went to Best Buy to get it only to find out that they only sell it at Starbucks. My two favorite things under the same roof, what a coincidence! The moral of the story is that the CD kicks butt! (note the censoring).

Moving on, Friday started out like any other day in that I was up at 6:00 to go to work. I was actually 45 minutes late that morning which was bad on my part but didn't actually make that much difference because there were three wrappers that day. Then I was off to the golf course to drive the beer cart for three hours. There was an outting for the Palmer Group that day, the Tony's, my father, and any other beer drinker out there will appreciate this, they had a running tab and the Palmer guy paid for it all at the end. I pulled up and they told me what they wanted. No money exchanged anywhere. The only sucky thing is that I never saw a tip out of it and they had 100 plus dollars in beer bought. Owell I guess.
The exciting part of it all was that I got to ride around with one of the most gorgeous men I have ever laid eyes on. Well, maybe not one of the most gorgeous, but definitely good looking. Tall, dark and handsome, it doesn't get better than that. I found him because one of the women playing in the outting asked if there was a guy in a cast sitting up at the clubhouse. I told her there was and asked who he was. She told me that he was with them and had broken his hand playing softball so he couldn't play. She asked if I would either go get him or get him a cart so he could drive around with them. I just decided that I would pick him up myself unaware of how cute he was. So I drove up to the clubhouse and picked him up. The rest is history. Before we left he bought his first beer and then once he figured out that there was a tab he put the remainder on the tab. A few background facts: his name is Rob, 24 years old, degree in History from ISU(only downfall besides his age), wanted to be a high school history teacher, works in the staffing dept at Palmer Group, grew up in small town Iowa near the Missouri border, and now qualified to do my job. As we were driving around, and after he had had a few, he began asking people if they needed anything and then he started actually getting the beer for them. It was quite hilarious. While together, one women took a picture of us on the cart, too bad I don't know her phone number!, and another women said, "Hey Rob, you got it made, sitting on a cart full of beer and riding around with a blonde." I was more than happy to oblige! All things good that day minus not getting tipped.
After the golf course, I left at 4:00 to head over to Laurens. Her, Meredith, and I were going up to spend the weekend at Lauren's house on Panorama. Friday we got there about 5:30 and laid around before her parent got there. Then we took the speed boat, because the pontoon didn't work, to pick up the pizza's at the Port and cruised the lake eatting good pizza. After dinner, us girls suited up and sat diper-style on life jackets in the lake until close to 11:00. It was a good time. Saurday we woke up and went tubing for awhile and returned to lounge in the lake again. Lauren just got a huge new tube and the three of us could lay comfortably on it. And we aren't talking little girls here. Not that any of us are huge but we aren't anorexic. Then we swam a little and went back out on the boat to tube. I had the ride of my life that day! It was a combination of things ranging from scary, painful, fun, hilarious, exhilerating, and(sorry) bitchin'! Let's just say I couldn't walk after I was done that night and I am still a little sore. All in all it was a good weekend.
Well, that is all I have for now. Going to St. Louis with mom and Sarah at the end of the week. Look for an update on that and pictures from this weekend whenever I get them developed!
See ya!

I will continue to tell you to buy a quality computer despite your protests. While you might not know all the programs as well as you do on a PC, it takes what, a week to get used to them? You're a fool if you spend you hard earned beer money on anything but a computer that actually works with the technology as it's changing. You get what you pay for, they say, and in the world of computers right now, anything but an apple is a desk full of shit.

I will never bow to the COMMUNISTS!

I refuse to listen to you about this! Unless a trained professional that I deem qualified tells me I should get an Apple. Worms and bugs crawl in apples, I much prefer the sleek HP. And I am not a communist!

Perhaps you should actually seek out and talk to your so-called trained professional. I have a friend in the MIS masters program at the U of Michigan, I could put you in touch with him...

Talk to SOMEONE before you waste 2000 dollars.

Tony is 80% right but, as always, 100% passionate. Macs are generally superior machines, especially the laptops.

That said, there's some funky formatting going on in that post that our PC using friends should not have to endure.

his name is Rob, 24 years old, degree in History from ISU(only downfall besides his age)

I hope you meant the ISU part was the downfall and not his exceptional choice in undergraduate degrees!

Well, I really have to say that Mattbott has made the most accurate statement about Tony I have heard. He is always 100% passionate about everything he says but not usually 100% correct. That said, I can't read the blog from work either. IBM machines. Comments? Mom, AKA(Sarah speak) Auntie C.

Who here can say I have ever led them astray? Except Drake. We tend to lead eachother astray amost every time we visit. which is why the bachelor party should be a complete disaster, and therefore, a complete success.

I'll take 80% righteousness eight days a week over communism. Call it The Passion of the Tony.

The words egotistical bastard come to mind repeatedly while reading your comments. Note the lack of censoring, I am not a communist.

To mattbot, no, Rob's choice in undergraduate studies is exceptional in my eyes. It is his choice of school that is his downfall. I would study history but I have no idea what to do with it.

P.S. I still don't think I can get an apple unless you are 3's friend from Mich. and if so, I may need to ask a few questions later on...

Mattbot is indeed the Michigan-man. Questions about computers can be directed to him through his blog, As We May Blog, which is linked on my blog. He is currently on internship in Dallas TX, where his title is something like Information Engineer. If that isn't authoritative, I don't know what is.
